destroyed starter and flex plate on my taco
« on: Mar 27, 2005, 06:23:25 PM »
Man just before dropping money to fix my sas, my starter go boom. I completely distroyed the engaging pinion gear, and welded the internal gears of the starter, and also broke off some teeth to my flex plate. I know MC is all about manual trannys, but does anyone know where I can get a strong or atlease an OE flexplate and starter for my 5VZ-FE V6 AT?
Since it will be a part, I would rather get an upgrade version of either if there is one, but regardless i want to get it running immediately.

Thanks.
