i have a set of new Trail gear 17mm pins (same as marlins i think)  listed in above thread for $15.  I pressed them out of my arms and drilled arms out for the 25mm Marlins.

Won't work. Those pins are 19mm where they press into the arms. Mine are 25mm/1"

Nobody!? MC won't pick up the phone, so no new ones available. Somebody's got to have a pair of these.

jrock is correct that Trail-Gear uses a 3/4" diameter pin-to-arm connection whereas we use a 1" diameter pin-to-arm connection (77% larger surface area!).

But, equally important to our far larger shear area, we use USA-made Chromoly steel (CNC'd right here in California) whereas TG uses weaker imported steel that I'll bet anyone is not Chromoly.

If anyone told you our pins are the same they are sorely mistaken. There is a reason why their products are so cheap.

jrock, after a while if you cannot find any used MC pins, then give us a call. We can sell new pins and *might* have some used ones laying around but I don't know for sure.

Regards,
BigMike
