what is this ???

so theirs  a little collector were my brake lines go to and then to my rear end and there is a bar type thing that runs from it to my  rear axle any body have any idea what it is and do i need it ?

lspv valve its a load sensing valve to adjust the rear brake pressure

is there away to by pass it ? reason why is when im crawling i can fill it catch my axle and to let my rear left side flex all the way

raise it toward the body 4 inches, make your own bracket. Quite simple if you do that

Any real downside to just getting rid of it and running new lines? That's what I had planned to do...

I got rid of it and just ran lines its been fine for years loaded down or not. The only thing good about it was it made the rear brakes more sensitive when loaded down. I still carry a half ton of scrap once and awhile and my brakes work just fine.
