2011 Tacoma clutch questions...
« on: Feb 04, 2014, 06:36:50 PM »
Time to replace the clutch on my 2011 5sp 2.7 base Taco.  Daily driver, occasional dunes, and trail use.  Stock rig besides bumpers/armor.   Seems there was a TSB from Toyota regarding some bad clutches made in Mexico for this year/trans.   Short question is this:  what is the best clutch/plate to replace the factory part?  Called my local dealer and while they had the parts, he wasn't sure what brand.  I'd like to go with AISIN, but can only find LUK, Valeo, etc.
I've had 4 Toyotas trucks with 5 speeds, and never killed a clutch.  Suprised this one is toast at 46k.

Any thoughts/help is appreciated.
