Is it a vibration or a bounce?

Sounds alot like my recent vibration, shaking at various speeds, checked and replaced all suspects, still vibrated and shook. My shifter would shake like crazy making me think driveline, joints or rear output bearing in the transfer case, but nay.
Turned out to be the rear diff input bearings, toasted. Replaced them and no more shake. Good luck with yours.

84 runner straight axle. I found one of the causes.new u joints for the rear shaft. but im still getting a vide ( not a shake or bounce) at at 45 - 50. I fear that i have a t case output bearing going out or a pinion about ready to eat it.  will keep checking...
