Topic: CJ springs

has anyone else heard about swaping out the front springs on a 2nd gen (1985) to some cj springs? there suppose to be a really flexable spring that will pretty much bolt right up to the stock location.

I put CJ springs on the rear of Samurai's but never heard of doing it to a Toyota.

I had a set of 2" lift YJ springs on the front of my yota when I did my SAS. They flexed really well, I loved them. I then through a set of RUF's to replace those since I was destroying my inner fender.....I couldn't be any happier with my set up. (RUF's and Chevys)

YJ springs must be the ones ive heard of.. anyways so did they bolt right up to the stock front hanger? or were there modifications needed? 87toyotaman do you mean ruff country when you said your running '' RUF'S '' ?
