Topic: Toyota auto transmission

If you run the Toy auto trans with no electronics hooked up will it still shift 1st 2nd 3ed on its own? I know I wont have lock up and maybe od, but not concerned about that, as its an off road only buggy. Thanks for the help

If you don't want to run the electronics, theres a couple shifter options at http://www.radesignsproducts.com/ that would allow you full control. The 1-4 Rail shifter is compact and will fit anywhere. The BAJA II also a good choice, a little larger and easy for your hand to find when driving like a mad man

i ran the rail shiftier when i had a auto. really easy to hook up only need 3 wires and everything else can be scraped.
