you will have to drill out one knuckle to add crossover steering but look for 81-84 axle from a grand wagoneer but definitely look on sky's site

yea, i checked out sky's site. i'm trying to decide what would be better: building up the stock yota, or getting a 44 under it. i don't know what direction i would like to go. one of the builds on this forum stated: you need a reverse rotation on a gen 1 if you go to later tranny, and case adapters. is that true? if the front driveline is lengthened, then can't i just stay with the conventional thrid? i will also upgrade the front spring perches, and relocate the front axle foreward. looked at the 82 again, it needs carb work, but motor feels strong. thanks for the response.
