I purchased a truck that came with the Marlin Stinger bumper. Without looking too much into it, I bought a winch. The winch came with a roller fairlead, and of course the Marlin bumper will not work with this fairlead.

Is it possible to modify the bumper to make the roller fairlead work? Or should I just not try, and purchase a hawse fairlead?

I modded mine to fit the roller fairlead. Use a zip disc to do the trimming. Then re-box the tube so that it doesn't get any dirt or rust in there.

Great, I'm gonna give it a try this weekend. I figured with the right tool, anything is possible. I was just worried about the strength after.
