Question about 1980 Toyota front brakes
« on: May 14, 2011, 02:08:33 PM »
I have a front axle for my 87 4runner build.  I was told that it was out of a 1980.  I was told that in 80 they didn't have a lower truss, this one does it goes half way .  In 81 they went to a truss half way across and in 84 they went all the way across.  I am in the process of building the axle and the brakes are the older style that only have the 6 holes.  Can I still put the IFS calipers on the older style brakes.
