Needing one for a 1983, one that isn't all rusted up and moves freely.

79-85 should be the same, maybe even anything with a 22R/RE after 85... this guy was parting out an 82:

got one from a 85 runner old style and one from 3rd gen truck which one you want?

im sure the 85 would but the 3rd gen one is plastic and would last longer ie not rust out i dont rember how the old ones hook up does your cable have a loop at the end that connects to a lever on the valve... mabye post a pic of yours so i dont sell you the wrong one and i can see if the 3rd gen will work

I have a perfect one .. restored . I was going to use it on My Trekker , but opted for a 5VZFE conversion ..
