TRADE 22re?
« on: Mar 07, 2011, 01:35:25 PM »
I have a fresh 22re (rebuilt recently by a friend)
I want to trade it for a w-56 with transfer case and if I am lucky crawl gears (single case)
Any interest out there?

THAT IS WHY I PUT " OR OFFER"
If someone goes to buy a rebuilt 22re, or pays to have someone rebuild it, they will be in over a grand.

If you rebuild it yourself, and have the head re machined and crank turned, plus all the new gaskets parts etc. you will pay out of pocket easily 300-600 cash even more if the motor was totally shot.

If you don't want to make an offer or trade, keep your opinion to yourself.

Sorry, your comment seemed sarcastic to me.  No harm done

I don't think you are out of line in your price... I sold a 22re that was low mileage but with bad head gasket for $500...
