putting a 90s rear end in first gen

does it bolt right up? is it fairly quick to do :hammer:

88 ext pickup linked with fox airs up front, 39.5 iroks,Beadlocks, 5.29s, 4.7s, chromolys, 6shooters, hp arb,  spool and 56 chevys in the rear

it will bolt right up.  you will need the longer hardline for the brakes though.  and make sure its not a 4runner rear end.

good chance of loosing your e-brake if it's a runner rear end.

NO, you will need a u bolt flip kit, as the old axles are thinner tube, and your orig u bolts and plate WILL NOT fit around it correctly. Your e brake cables will not be long enough either, but you can make extensions easy/

dont need a flip kit, unless you get the stock u bolts with the axle. if get u bolts and plates from a 4x4 ranger at the junkyard its a cheap flip kit, if your running chev or ford springs get the u bolts and plates from one of them at the junkyard. cheap flip kits, sparkplug told me about it.

how are you going to widen the front, spacers or ifs hubs and fj brake swap?

I got spacers or Ifs hubs never heard of that which ever one is easier
