Topic: '81 Carburetor Jets?

Does anyone know if theres some1 out there who sells original toyota carb parts, or specifially jets for a 22R, besides toyota? i called toyota and they hardly carry any specific carb. parts, not even a rebuild kit for an 81    Really??  Also what years did toyota change their carburetors and jet sizes? thx fellas

Dunno, but i have 20R carbs i have no intention of keeping, you want a couple for parts? Ship on your dime.

If your giving them away i'll gladly take them and pay shipping, otherwise im only willing to spend the few i have on a spare 81 22r carb. But sure if you wanna help me out ill take em!

I assumed from the year that you had a 20R motor. What carbs do you need, 20R carbs or 22R carbs? I have both.

I specifically need an 81 22r carb, i need the jets out of it, they preform better than any of the rebuild kits jets.

Well, i don't know if i have an 81 carb specifically, but i have a bunch of 22R carbs, i'll weigh one and figure out shipping.

I rebuilt my carb about a year ago and the new jets in the kit were a totally different style from the originals (at least they looked original) Now my truck has less pull than before, i only get steady acceleration until the pedal is 1/2 down, then it drops off. Like its pumping in too much gas or not enough. So i want a donor 81 carb to steal the jets out of.  Willing to buy any original 81 toyota carb plus shipping.

Okay whatever carb is stock/ no rebuilds and or the oldest one. its gonna have to be pre 85 i think
