THis is such a sad time in the world.  God rest all their soles.

I just cant imagine being over there and seeing thousands and thousands of dead people lying all over the place, especially kids.

I agree, and the devastation did'nt discriminate. This disaster will affect the entire planet. As a father of three, it hurts to see kids and parents alike hurt in such a way.
 On a similar note.  The good Ole USA will spend hundreds of millions in relief and we will still be hated by everyone.

My boss at the "flood control" job is leaving Saturday to help bury the dead in Sri Lanka. He is using his own money & hooking up with the Red Cross when he gets there. Now a bunch of our employees have donated a portion of our paychecks & our suppliers have jumped on board to help finance his trip. He said the Lord directed him to do this in a dream, so he is going.

I talked to him before he left, the church & our company raised $5k in 4 days. He told me that is more than enough for his trip & the rest will be donated to the Red Cross to help with the relief effort. If you want to donate you can either donate to the church fund or to the Red Cross or another organization directly. The church fund info is as follows:
