Factory 4x4 Vans
« on: Oct 27, 2010, 01:51:12 PM »
I've seen quite a few of these factory 4x4 ford econoline transit, or whatever there called, on the road. There bone stock factory 4x4's, and i can tell cause they've got locking hubs on the front. The thing is i've gone to a few dealers and they say that they don't come in 4x4. Anybody know whats the deal on them or if there is a company that makes em.

O and they are not sport mobiles, they look to be about stock 09-10 vans.

There is a place in Fresno called sports mobile that builds them. They make some sweet vans. A buddy of mine had one with a 7.3 power stroke, Then had them do all the 4x4 stuff. turned out great , coolest van i have ever driven,

Well just say that you said there not sport mobiles, so forget what i said lol :smack:

The one i saw though was the cargo version, road tires and stock steel wheels and not lifted.

I saw one of those on a semi truck trailer parked at Glamis last year.  It was brand new and had tracks instead of wheels and the truck driver said he was delivering it to some ski lodge in Colorado.  I thought it was funny that it still had a factory spare tire under the rear.
