Clicking coming from the front end
« on: Dec 14, 2011, 09:29:45 PM »
So, last night me and a buddy of mine went out to go camping and long story short, we wound up getting sucked into a mud hole and getting stuck in my 83 pickup. A friend of mine came to pull us out but once we got out, I realized that my drivers side front wheel was sitting at an odd angle. I took the hub an knuckle apart and found that I had trashed one of the inner knuckle bearings. I replaced that and it drives fine but now there is a loud clicking coming from the front end only when I'm moving. It feels fine the noise just freaks me out. Any help or suggestions would be awesome. Thanks, Ted.

Turns out I put the square tube drive shaft under pressure and stretched it out a little bit. Nothing to serious.
