Go duals! Longer driveshaft = less angle :)

Dr.Maxwe001 – well i have a 15 gal compressor now and if I gett he 60  and then use the 15 as a reserve that wil give me 75 gal  thats close to 80 isnt it ?

dual cases will help your situation alot!  Other things that help remedy the situation are lowering the suspension and moving the front axle forward more.  idk if either of those things are an option for you, but a combination of both can help alot.

Looks like your best bets are tear it apart and start fileing or cut off the CV and replace it with an 84-85 CV.

as mentioned above you need to clearance your cv, go to a earlier cv, or get rid of the cv all together.. the ifs cv's have much less angle ability to them..  Search google, there are a couple right ups how to clearance them

You do not need a solid axle DC, do this mod to your IFS CV and it will have more angle then the SA CV.

http://www.4x4wire.com/toyota/tech/cvmod/

Ran like that for many years until I wore the d-shaft out and went to one that I bought from Dave'z Off-road. It has single IFS front u-joints, the bottom one is machined to accept a massive slip joint that is over 14" long. The front IFS single joints have the most angle of any Toyota single joint. Why I do not know, but they do.

I never ran shims when I was single case, I only ran shackles that were 4.5-bolt hole to bolt hole. When I first did the SAS I had 6" bolt hole to bolt hole shackles and I had a slight bind on full droop on the PS side. When I change the shackles, it moved the pinion up about nine degrees and that was more then enough to stop the binding.
