Topic: how to get more flex?

so i have an 84 xtra cab on 37s with f150s in the rear and ruf and im only getting about 30 in of flex. my bodys yota is on 63s in rear and waggoneers in the front with a body lift and he is getting 4 ft. i dont get it im not really rubbing at all it just seems like it max's out is it the springs?. also he has longer shackles if that matters.

Im assuming the reason no one has even responded is because this is a website dedicated to crawling and off-roading with several existing articles on toyota mods for flex and such.............

ditch your springs and get a set of 4inch ,arlins ive run those for years and they have plenty of flex if thats not enough flex for you than id link your truck

How do you have your RUF pack set up? it might be a little too stiff

Or its the f150 springs,

My truck is set up just like yours except i'm runnin the chevies in the back and i am way more than happy with how it flexes

So your buddy has 2 feet of up travel and 2 feet of droop

Ditto, good suggestion from a newb    There are many existing threads on this, as well as a flex thread where lots of people say what they've done and show pics.  The info is there for those willing to do the research

im asuming he means 4' without pulling a tire
