Astrozombie. We will be back up there again for Memorial Day weekend.  Just look for our camp cite.  By then the snow should be nill to none.  You are welcome to join us and have fun.  We are still learning ourselves and look forward to anyone else that wants to enjoy this sport!  You have my business card to contact me.  Join us camping.  We should have a large group attending.

Should be me and two other guys coming. My wife and I will be in my Rubicon, and 2 guys from work. One with a lifted Colorado... (I know!) And one with a long arm LJ.

We will be there for Memorial weekend.  Just look for us before the trail starts, near the gates.

Should be great conditions.

Not so sure about snow. Raining now as we speak at Shaver Lake.  We plan on being up there for the weekend and head back on Sunday.  Enjoy Memorial Day at home before the dreaded work week starts!

Look foward to hearing about updated conditions as Memorial Weekend is shortly approaching. I guess we need to be prepared for any type of conditions up there that could come our way.

It just happened I stumbled upon this group outing, and I want to thank stvemerz and the others for the warm welcome, helping hands and for them not laughing at me (at least to my face!) for giving it a go in my nearly stock tj. Made it past the bridge and not much further!!!

I was just out and about exploring and didn't expect the snow but HAD to give it a shot since I drove up there. Can't wait to try it without the snow!

No laughing... just smack talking... 4x4ers are like fishermen... the stories keep getting bigger and bigger... everyone starts somewhere and everyone screws up at one point or another... it's all good... hope to see you and your gang at our campsite Memorial weekend

Had a great time at Whiskey Falls... Being your passenger was a little hairy, though... I think I'll stick to my Jeep... I feel alot safer with a rollcage!!!

We will be pretty well prepared for this trip.  Figure that mother nature will throw whatever it can at us.  The weekend up there should be great weather once this passes.

Didn't get to make it up there Friday as planned. Had to register my daughter for school. Went Monday instead, and made it alot further than last time! Got a few scuffs on the Jeep, tore my door, but all in all I had a blast! Can't wait till the snow is melted already!!!

Haha, of course! My first addiction is hot rods, I'm still learning this 4X4 stuff but I know how the hot rod crowd is, I'm sure there are many similarities. Tons of smack talking! The military has given me a thick skin, I can take it :)

Conditions were pretty tore up.  Some made it to Hollywood.  Our little group made it to the start of potato salad hill turn off.  Dayle made it to Hollywood and V-rock like the others.

Thanks for the yank... yes, definitely a bad day for me... should've turned around when the winch malfunctioned... I guess as long as I am going to be miserable I might as well cause one heck of a traffic jam... I think your group was the first to make it around me.. lol

Curious if there is ever a Blad Mtn clean up day.  Memorial weekend, we walked the trail and there were lots of cans all over the place.  Pretty sad that we do not pack out what we pack in :smack:
