All trannys are top shift except for the early early L series trannys I belive...You might be thinking of T cases because there is a forward shift and a top shift style in Transfer cases  :welcome:

gnob, on the last question... Im wondering if he was asking was it PAIRED to a TOPSHIFT or a SIDESHIFT.... as this would make a difference to certain people.  For me, I have a forward shift tcase I could bolt up behind it if it was set up for a forward shift... if it wasnt... I COULDNT use your tranny. ALSO, if it WAS a forward shift... some people may not  want to deal with plugging the hole
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
