Will a 92 3rd fit in my 82 axle?

I got a 92 3rd with 4.88s for nothing, will it fit my 82 axle or do I need a IFS rear end? Thxs for the help  :biggthumpup:

Yes. So long as it's a 8" 3rd it will work.
