Should i get the kit that has the wheel bearing or the on with out.  I have not torn my axle apart yet, i also do not know if the thing has ever been rebuilt or not.  This is a 1980's model.  I do know that alot of grease is coming out of the axle and when i jack the front of the truck up i can my tire on the top and bottom and rock it back and forth a bit.  The wheels spin smoothly though.   So should i spend the extra 60 bucks and get the wheel bearing also or just get the rebuild kit without the wheel bearings.

If you can rock the tire top to bottom then your bearings are at least loose. If they've been loose for a while I would suggest replacing them.

looks like i will be going with the full kit...  wish it was cheaper.  I know i can get them cheaper but after some research on pirate..i will be buying the marlin full kit so i only have to do this once.
