I love my BFG's, thats what I would recommend, they have lasted a long time and still have a lot of life

toyo mts are aggressive and last a long time on the road

i would go with the bfg a/t. i run them on my tacoma and they have almost 50,000 on them and still have about 40% tread on them. the toyos are a really heavy tire compared to the bfg's
98 taco, 32's, allpro front bumper, 3 in. body :( i know, cobra 29 ltd classic cb. broke college student so no building for awhile

i have 33x10.5 goodrich mt's and they run good on the freeway and seem to last .i didnt think they were going to be that good on the freeway but they were.i think since they are kinda narrow it makes them look taller, which i think looks cool.

I just bought a set of the Kuhmo Road Venture AT KL78s at the recommendation of a friend.  He's got 50,000 miles on his, and they still look great, still plenty of deep tread.  His are on a F350, and he regularly tows a 28' flatbed gooseneck, or an enclosed motorcycle trailer with 6 or so bikes in it, with a cabover in the bed. 

I had mine put on just a few weeks ago, then drove from Reno to CO Springs and back.  On the way out there, I hit a storm and was driving through up to 2' of snow on the roads.  Tires did great, with nary a slip or slide.  They're pretty quiet on the road, and do great in dirt and gravel as well.  haven't had them in mud, and they're on a tow rig so they won't see much rock, but I'm very happy with them.

Plus, they're $157 a tire for the 315/70R17s from tirerack.com :gap:
