Freight Shipping Question
« on: Feb 11, 2010, 05:04:12 PM »
Just wondering if anyone has experience shipping large parts (Axle, Tires) on pallets. What is the best route to go? Fed Ex Freight? DHL? UPS? Anybody have a ballpark figure on prices? I know it depends on distance...

I've had very good service from Fedex. Cost is weight, time and distance.

I forgot about them. I used them a few times, back in the olden days. Slow but cheap.

Is Forward Air still in business? They used to be about the cheapest as long as the shipper and receiver are within a reasonable distance of an air terminal.
