hey, i know this thread is kindof dead..but i used this to help figure out what was wrong with my toyota. and well it wasn't a computer ground..but CLOSE..i was going frickin nuts! but it ended up being the plug to the fuel injectors, one of the plugin slots on the plug wasn't working..so i took a wire..spliced it together and just pluged in on the one side..and voila..it worked! but i just wanted to say thanks to this thread..it was a great deal of help and helped me solve some problems that also needed to be adressed!
Don't worry the operation won't take long..and you'll be much better in the morning

The good news is that the death wiggle is very  easy its only bolts  :cheer: after every run you need to tighten all spring bolts if the trail was longer than 10 miles round trip then you should check you bushings on the rear of the front spring for a torn bushing :yesnod:  HAVE TIRES BALLANCED. then trouble shoot from there...the runner is a BIG PIG and has a tendency to eat bushings :rivers: and that's my :twocents: LUCK..

i noticed when i took the shackles off one time that the bushing had worn a dimple in the shackle plate, Toyota has two different ways to combat this, a shoulder on the "bolt" which is pressed into one side of the shackle plate, or a bushing housed in a metal sleeve, with another metal sleeve in the ID of the bushing, all vulcanized together, and pressed into the eye of the leaf spring...

both of these methods eliminate over torquing the bushings... i think something along these lines is what i might resort to in the future
