HEY GUYS!!!
Glad to see this post.
Last time I was at the wrecking yard, I came accross a york compress that was a twin piston in a V shape, a V2 if you will.
Then I came back to the shop and reported my discovery to Marlin who told me a great experience he has from his best wheeling friend, who tragically passed away while driving home from a run, but here's the story:
Marlin's best bud Bruce Z. had a twin piston York compressor and only a 2 gallon air tank. Marlin said he was airing up his 35s and the compressor would actually
turn off!! It would cycle on and off even while airing up 35s - wow!
So back to this topic, I don't know which model the 210 is, I tried searching as much as possible and I could not find any info on this twin piston york.
So does anyone know what vehicle and approx. what years this twin piston york was on so I can search http://www.car-part.com for one? I do remember that it was near the older AMC cars, like the eagles, so it was in the big boat car area where all the caddies are..
I heard it's a bit large, but I really want to use it. Marlin's got the standard upright york and its great, but you have to keep the throttle at a bit over 2000 rpm and it'll settle to around 80psi while airing up tires, so it takes longer.
Thanks!
