85 FJ60 front axle with aprox 180,000 mi. I installed some brake calipers off a 94 4Runner so you have the biggest brakes. All appears to be in good condition. I can re-seal this axle with marlins parts if wanted, if you pay for the parts. I am a Toyota technician and just finished upgrading and re-building the front axle on my 84 Fj60. Only missing locking hubs(up grade to longfeild hub gears). Will have pics tomorrow. Great up grade for your FJ40. $550 O.B.O.
