Topic: 3.0 clutch on a 3.4

Stupid - maybe. Cheap - probably.

So I am swapping a 3.4 for my great 3.0. I got a automatic donor truck, so I don't have a flywheel or clutch.

The 3.0 flywheel will bolt right up to the 3.4. So can I run one of Marlin's clutches for the 3.0 like the heavy duty series?

the r150 off of the 3.0.

yah man!  that is what i'm running. it is a descent tranny.

I play up Hwy 4 & 108 mostly and sometimes over on 80 but thats a long haul from Turlock.

that's what i'm wheeling an 89 would show a pic but i have all old ones.  i'm in the mix of a four link in the rear.

Yo can, but I would run the 3.4 clutch.  It is bigger.  At least that is what I did.  You cn get a flywhel from Napa, I got a toyota clutch, It all ended up chaper than th Marlin HD.
