Spare seat for MCR??
« on: Aug 26, 2009, 11:08:49 AM »
My dad wants to go to MCR, but we don't have any spare seats since my rig won't make it.

If anyone has an extra seat that they don't mind filling - I'm sure he'd be willing to pitch in if needed. Please let me know...

It's a hard commitment to make, buddy.  Not sure of your schedule or how far you wanna go what day.  That said, if you're at the spillway on Thursday afternoon when my group heads out, I think I might swing something for you.  Even if it means I give up my seat and hike while your pops rides.

Thanks! I'm still working on some guys going in with us on Wednesday, but if that doesn't work out, I'm going to tell him to be at the spillway on Thursday. No need to give up your seat. He's down to walk if he can't find a seat. He is just fascinated by all the rigs and seeing what they can do. His first time watching *real* wheelin' was Memorial weekend, and since then he's been hooked :)

Thanks again!  :beerchug:

If he wants to roll in with us, we may have an extra seat, not sure yet.  Anything being said, he can always rotate seats.  I know my dad is going to be walking a lot, taking pictures and such.

Same thing with my brother and niece(11yr old).  She wants a Toyota and to learn to weld and work on it.  So our goal is within 4 years to have her in a rig of her own.  Just awesome when we turn new people on and they fall in love.

Justina, Check your PM's, I just sent you something.

I'm planning on rolliing into loon thursday night and hitting the trail on Friday. Not sure if that works for you, but I've got a seat. Maybe not shotgun, but it's at least a seat. Let me know.
