Topic: 3.0L cold start question

when i start my truck after sitting over night or if i let it cool down 100%, it starts right up but stuters a little like its only on 2 cylinders then 5-10 seconds later it fires and runs perfectly... anyone have ideas?? only does it when its completyly cold.. when the engine is warm,  it fires with no problems...

could be the cold start injector.

is the cold start injector a switch or relay or somthing???    i have a3.0 and don't know what that is never seen it?    thanx for the reply.

You  know, try and spray starting fluid in there after the air cleaner and see what it does.

i will pull that cold start off this weekend and look at it.... i will try spraying starter fluid also, its only after it has sat over night or so.. it just sputters like its not getting fuel or its only on 2 cylinders then it fires and runs perfect

my thought on the starting fluid is, its like bypassing the cold start injector.

yeah this is true.... im pretty sure its probably original, i will probably replace it and see what happens....
