flatbed help

Im thinking of building a flatbed.  Just wondering if anybody had any suggestions as to how thick of metal to use for the bed.

3/16 is the thinnest i would run and it wouldnt look bad. are you talking for the plating or tubing? what size tubing? round or square?

1 1/2 120 tubing and 1/8th sheeting is fine....Heath.
