My buddy has a rebuilt 22re never installed with a nice cam. I forget what it is. But he sold his rig and has been sitting on it for a while.

slolyfe... how much does your buddy want for the rebuilt motor? also is it a complete motor or is it a long block or short block?

Its a complete motor with a crawler cam, new head, and ready to install. He wants a grand but is pretty open to getting rid of it. I will try to get pictures.

its in oakland. Yes he has receipts for the motor but not the cam

I can't tell you for sure the mileage.  I bought the 4Runner from a tow yard in Fresno.  The guy who owned it wrecked it three days after he bought it, back in January.  I started and drove it before I bought it, and it sounded great.  No smoke, and had good power.  The motor is out now, has no leaks, and from the looks of the head and the bottom end, it looks pretty new.  Let me know if you need more info.  Asking $600, and can probably deliver it to you if you need.
