Topic: 91 22re in a 85 will it work?

just making sure,  my good friend has a 91 2wd bucket that was rolled but runs cherry, he is gonna give me the truck for parts. will the block and head be compatible with my 85 efi?  i was also gonna salvage the fuel pump, coil , and ecu  if it is the same.

I have an 85 and my brother-in-law has a 92 and some of the connectors on the ecu harness don't match up.  But if your just going to use the block and head, it should work.

it will work, i have an 85 22re in a 90 4runner, but its got a 3rz waiting to go in it.
