Sweetmeat, did you score anything at the swapmeet?  I bought some fiberglass bedsides from fiberworks and scored on some two used Tuffy bedside toolboxes like these for $50.00.  I plan on hacking up my bed to mount the bedsides so I may as well incorporate some storage in there too.

They are $480.00 per box new for the aluminum ones I got and I figure if I can't make them fit decent, I have at least $50.00 in aluminum here.

Good score man.  No i didn't make it after all.  Had a pretty violent rollover at t.d.s Saturday afternoon went over like 1 1/2 times pretty hard and landed on its lid.  Hit my head a little bit.  Everybodys alright though thank god.  I ended up just wakin up sunday and headin home.  It looked like there was alot of stuff there though when i passed it.  But i didn't feel like stoping i just wanted my couch.  Somebody got it on video though and said they were gonna post it on youtube.  I havn't found it yet though i don't know if the guy was pulling my leg or if he just hasn't posted it yet

Wow, I'm glad you held up ok.  How's your rig?  Sounds like it's a good thing you have an exo - It may make me want to second guess my plans.  Did you roll it over by telephone booth?  I've seen some people do crazy things over in that area.

Thanks bro.  Well the cage worked pretty good.  Its got a few bent bars here and there and alot of dented sheet metal and a broken windshield.  Oh yea and a pretty messed up roof.  It still managed to push the top bars and roof about 4 inches or so.  That's what i hit was the roof.  The motor won't stay running but i haven't even had a chance to look at it yet cause the bars that run down along the front fender are bent completely over the hood to where you cant even think about opening it.  I'm probably gonna just cut most of the cage off and asses the damages.  I think from the rear of the doors back are good but i definitely need to replace most of the front and top.  I'll try to get a few pics soon.  No it wasn't by the phone booth i know where that is it was at some hill.  I'm not sure what the hill is called though but i know its a hang out cause i had been there before and there were about 1000 people there when it happened.  Somewhere there footage I'm sure.  I just hope that whole 9 lives thing is false cause this is the 9th time she's been over and it was by far the worst one.  A few cases of beer and a few days she'll be back out

She's been over 9 times?  Screw fixing the exo and just wrap it in bubble wrap...Lol.........

Yup 9 times now in 5 years.  Seems like they keep gettin harder and harder too.  No way i gotta fix the exo, its definitely the way to go.  If i had installed a normal cage it would have been wadded up ALONG time ago.  She'll be back lookin as good as ever.  With a little more body damage of course.  Headin to glamis this weekend but were just takin quads.  4runner wont be ready

Sweet, have fun at Glamis.  I just took my quad last weekend.  The sand was unusually soft, even for Glamis.  I might be going on the 20th if I can scrape together enough $.  Do you live in SoCal?

Nope wasn't me.  I had my eyes out for you guys all weekend but never seen you.  I seen joey thats it.  He was there at that little hill when i came tumbling down.  I didn't camp with westover either i camped off that turnout 1 exit north of north marina dr.  I went out there with our jeepspeed 1714 crew and another crew 1706(scott hartman and jeff knoll).  Good times, besides waddin my rig up again.  We even made it to the irom door sat. night.  Not sure how we made it back but it was fun for sure.  I only seen westover for a little bit sat right after i wrecked.  He was with phill, adam and a few other hellraiser newbies.  He wanted me to go with them to run some canyon but my junk wouldn't stay runnin

Yup thats Phill.  Phill's a cool cat he lives down the street from me.  He's building a jeep.  Been building it for some time now. Maybe it will be out next year. I'm sure i'll run into you sometime or another
