I've never seen anyone build a traction bar for the front....

Build something like this one from Front Range Off Road:

I've never heard of that happening to the front. My bro runs the same All Pro springs and he's never experienced that(at least not that I know of).The front generally doesn't wrap because you've got the weight of your engine...You might want to check to see if maybe your U bolts are a little loose.

hey when you put a front traction bar on would you have to make it have slip in it so the driveline would still slip..   and could just run a single bar with joints on each end.  instead of like a step style bar

A traction bar would have to go on where the spring is atteched soild to the frame. so on a yota it would have to go on the front.

now that being said, a trac. bar like the one mikey posted up that has a shackle on it would go on the back. butt it would not stop all the wrap as it would have some flex in the shackle. butt it would likely stop enuff to do the job. and no a slip jount would just defeat the porpuse. (where a pic. of Flipper when you need one? )
