Do it.  I ran a locked rear open front for a while, then locked the front when I blew up my gears.  night and day difference.  I ran a lockrite, for the most part same thing.

I have an Aussie in my 99 Taco IFS. Works awsome. HOWEVER, in less than 1 year I have blown 6 CVs. On the last one the splines in the diff twisted and snapped off inside the diff. Now I have to tear down the diff and replace the long side tube.

My  :twocents: same the money or if it is going to be a while before you SAS buy a selectable. The guys that have ARBs and IFS done usually blow CVs.
