I'm only running 2" of spring lift on my '84. Will the  Marlin High Steer kit work with this set-up? And do I have to ditch the torque reaction /anti-wrap link? -- Matt

I think just about anything that isn't negative arch or doesn't flex into negative arch is fine.   :twocents:

i'd also like to know how much lift you need to get by with marlin's kit.  i only plan on running 33s or 34s so i don't need an insane amount of lift

however, i do know you can get rid of the torque arm.  the only reason it's there is to help keep brake steer away with the stock steering

Did you have bump stops to prevent too much compression and negative arch on the springs?

any other input on these questions?
I have the same questions?
also is negative arch ok if the axel is moved forward and
the spring perches are lowered say an inch and a half?

I don't want to think I know I want to know for sure
I am in the middle of a build up and don't want to do it twice
if at all possible

but I am thinking I will take a forklift and pick up one tire until it is compressed as far as it will go andthen jack up the oposite rear tire for max articulation to see before I go out on the trail and shear off knuckle studs and break crap.
