Jamar Line Lock
« on: Nov 08, 2008, 07:41:14 PM »
Im looking in to getting a Jamar line lock. I was wonder if anyone has been running this line lock before. Does it have metic fittings on it? How would you mount it up (comes with a mount or is it all custom rigging)?

I run a JEGS line lock for my e-brake it works great. I just purchaced the adapter fittings to adapt from 1/8th pipe to metric.

Where did you find these? I'm in search. Thanks! Sending PM, too.

What are looking for? It sounds like you want to know where to get a Jegs line lock from the quote above.

Not sure but 3/16" and 10mm line is the same OD so you can just get a 3/16" compression fitting and link them together. I had the same problem when i tryed to hook up my jamar.

Compression fittings are not a great thing to use on braking systems, especially if they are brass. To soft and to high pressure, they can blow apart, especially under hard braking (panic).

Looks like im going to find out if that is true or not ive never heard that about brass. I use brass fittings all the time on intakes for diesels and none have blown up yet.
