So they're soft? Not a majorly big deal for a light truck but I would like a tire that lasts a while.

id say about like the original MT KM, but with my brother driving and driving a few miles, in an 8000lb truck...they wear fairly fast.

I wonder how they compare to the Toyo MT?

I have a set on my jeep, and love them.  Running the 35's on 17 inch rims.
They do great in the rocks and sand.  Not played in the snow yet with them, but will soon up at Bald.

Yea, but how much more is shipping, then how much more do you have to pay to have them mounted and balanced locally?

theres free shipping if i pick them up at a local 4 wheel parts store, and theres one about 5 miles from my house :eyebrow: and my friend works at big-o and would probably mount and balance them for almost nothing :wink2:

750 after tax, then probably way less than 50 to get them mounted i would guess

No reason not to, considering that these are replacing the older ones.  They seem to be slightly better in every way.

I heard something about them stopping production on these but I'm not sure. Something like they released them too soon.

But the KM2s have better side walls, from what I hear. And a different tread, plus it's softer.

The tread depth seems quite a bit shallower then the krawlers. I wonder how these compare to a goodyear mtr? Gotta find some new shoes for my dads runner and thought i was set on the goodyear but i will give these a look.

$100+ more per tire for a 35x17" than 35x15"  :shake:  and $600 for a 40? hell Maxxis arent even that much  for a better tire with twice the tread depth  :talkingn:

  Looks like a Nitto wannabe

Krawlers were out way before the crapplers  :talkingn:

They seem to perform well enough from what I have read.  I purchased some 32x11.50 x 15's from 4 whee parts yesterday.  Can't wait to put them on the ole 83.   I got them for a steal.
bfg KM2's, 3" plain lift, detroit in front hp, twin sticking too.
