Topic: engine shuts off after a couple second

ijust replaced all my spark plugs on my 88 v6 truck and now it will start but die a few seconds latter will climb up to 2000 rpms and die it wasn’t starting before
i changed the plugs and had to charge the battere  any one know of some stuff to check and what not

If you removed the intake tubing then make sure all the tubing and vacuum hoses are on securely. If not then it causes a huge vacuum leak and the engine will only run for a second or two...

make sure you put on your spark plug wires on the correct location
