Cracked my 4cyl drum and need to replace it. I have a complete V6 axle at my brothers but dont want to go pick it up if the drum is not going to work. So let me know what will work.

Goto an online autoparts store and see if they have the same part number for replacement drums..........

i seem to think the v6 has a larger drum.....

i know swpping to an 86+ rear end you get bigger drums than anything before 86

if you have the ebrake cable with it and hard lines... assuming you have an 85 or older housing now... just swap in the v6 one....

I have a V6 rear housing modified for an E-locker with 86 4cyl axles and drums that i just replaced the shoes and wheel cylinders in so just swapping in my other axle is not an option that i am willing to mess with

The rear brakes are the same on all IFS axles, V-6 or 4 cylinder.
