Well some buddies and I are headin up to Truckee, Ca on the 11th of November and I was wondering if there are any fun spots to wheel up there or secluded trails I can find. We'll be be in a stock yota 4runner and pickup and a stock chevy 2500 all with all terrain tires. can anyone be of assistance?   :disturbed:

all sorts of logging trails and stuff.  However, there's most likely going to be snow and/or sloppy mud everywhere.

dude your 11 days too late! they lock most of the gates around here nov.1. i know a couple good spots for stock rigs up on the summit.... only thing is that there is over a foot of snow there right now. it should be nice and tracked out by the 11th though.

yeah we got up there. It was awesome. We went up to the old railroad tunnels out of soda springs, the lost trail, and prosser pits.

I left my buddy in his 2500 chevy when I went climbin up a rocky snow hill.  and a few other times. I only got stuck once at prosser pits in some muddy ass ruts. So he pulled me out  :smack:.

Heres a few pics of a creek crossing where I had some trouble gettin up the bank on the other side. After about 15 attempts a different line and a ripped off mud flap. I finally made it up. But I had to leave my buddy behind cus his p.o.s. truck couldnt make it through the creek and up some other trails too.

Just goes to show how freakin awesome yotas are, even in stock form
