center arm ?
« on: Apr 06, 2008, 04:03:18 PM »
so i am rebuilding the center arm on my 67 cruiser, stock steering, i removed it off of the bracket on the frame and pretty much all ive done is take the bottom nut off and taken out a spring looking thing with a dust cap of sorts . how do i get the long stud/post thing out of the assembly. dont want to ruin it because even the local toyota specialist junkyard gave me a funny look when i wanted a new one. i see how all the parts go together in a diagram in my landcruiser manual but it doesnt explain how to take it out. thanks guys..
