Well I rolled it out and washed it yesterday to get rid of the wasp nest and little spiders.  Pushed it back in around 7:30 and almost got everything off the motor.  I'm hoping to get it pulled tomorrow(if only it was running so I could go pick up the cherry picker).  Heres some more Pics, still the cell phone cause the wife had the camera  :headscratch:

Nice find. You gonna put another 22re in it?
It was just crazy to see this deer leap all suicidal style off this embankment right in front of us.

I'm swapping in another motor and I'm gonna use it as a DD.  I've got a 91 x-cab as a crawler ans an 88 zuk built so theres no need to destroy this one yet.  I change my mind all the time though and if I get lucky enough to hit a deer this winter(or something else happens to the truck) its definetly gonna turn into a wheeler.

Well I didnt get much done today.  I stayed inside and played with the kids(felt guilty about bein in the garage the last few days). But while they were eating dinner I snuck out and built a cardboard bumper.  Still dont have the camera with a flash though.

Its basically a copy of the TG winch mount with end caps instead of tubing.  It's gonna be a DD so I think a tube bumper would look kinda gay.

Your '91 is just about to be stripped.  Its way overkill for my driving style so the motors going in the '85, and the axles are going under the new sami(the one my dad used to drive).  The body and frame are going to be sold to a guy thats putting fullsize axles and a small block in it, and I gonna hang onto the duals and springs for when I get my tundra.  Then I can build the '85 as a back-up wheeler.  The ECU, harness, distributer, intake, and what ever else is going in my buddies '84 x-cab.
Heres the sami that the axles are going in, along with YJ springs and the IFS box.

This is what I built with your cab.

I sold it to Chris Wood for the $680 I had into it since he hit black ice and totalled That red one he drove back in Cali.  About 2 mon. later he ran it out of oil and locked it up :smack:

Well it was a pretty busy day but I still managed to get the diamond plate done on the bed and the tool box mounted.  I still need to do some trimming on the tailgate section cause its from a 3rd gen but its better to big than to small.  Hopefully I'll get the cherry picker over here tomorrow so I can get back to the real work.

'85's gonna be a stock DD for now so I can focus on building the sami how I want it.  Next year I'm planning on getting a 00-05 tundra x-cab.  Then I will build the '85 for the wife to wheel.

Finally got a little ass time on the computer so heres some pics.

Heres the block that came out.

And heres the start of my bumper.  I still need to trim it in and put the end caps on it but you get the basic shape of it.

sides

tow hooks and fog lights.
