hey guys,

i'm getting tired of sweating my arse off when i'm driving around in only 95 degrees and not having any women folk wanting to ride with me either. so i'm trying to find all the stuff i need to put A/C on my 84 pickup with a 22R. i've found a guy selling the compressor, condensor, lines and drier on ebay and i'm wondering if this is all that i need or if there is something else in the system that i would need to get besides refrigerant. also if i do get a used sys. would it be a good idea to go through and redo all the seals and such? thanks for any input.

Yes, there is more to it than that. Best to get the complete system from a donor vehicle, get it all from inside the truck and under the hood. There is an evaporator, ac switch, harness, ac amplifier and I'm sure I am missing more stuff.

alright thanks. i'd be tempted to just go to a junk yard to get that stuff but they just cut a lot of the stuff they take so i doubt i'd get all that i wanted in one piece.
