Greetings, I am in the middle of rebuilding my hubs as I am writing this. I have Marlin's rebuild kit with the NSK trunion bearings. I drank way too much coffee before I started this project and when I was reassembling the knuckle pivot/ steering arm mount, I forgot to install the preload shims
I proceded to take the steering arm off of the mount and in the process the trunion bearing split in half, expelling all of its goodness on the ground, and pushing me into a fit of Rage
I now need a new trunion bearing that is not made by nsk, and just want to know if anybody has had experience with a non OEM trunion bearing. thanks
