« on: Mar 16, 2008, 02:51:25 PM »
I have an 85 x-cab yota I'm getting ready to swap my auto for a 5 speed with marlins dual ultimate, I was wondering if I need to change the computer to one out of manual truck or if it wont cause me any problems..Or if there are any other problems I should be aware of. Thanks..

I believe the automatic tranny has it's own seperate computer.

No, you don`t need to replace the computer, you just need to jump the neutral plug to get it to start.
