those fins inside look like the same kind as what the 70's-80's era suburbans use in the rear ac setup. move alot of air but that design is known to eat itself up after awhile.

Are you serious?  Come on man a coleman airbed pump will do more. Have you ever had the filter off and revved your engine?  It almost ate my hand. It is a waste of money.

I actually just heard about a guy who used a frickin electric leaf blower as a supercharger.  He said it made 6lbs of boost.  He pluggeed it into an inverter.
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE
AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

IF YOU CAN'T FIX IT WITH A HAMMER, YOU HAVE AN ELECTRICAL PROBLEM.

I honestly can't believe ANYBODY has purchased one of these thinking it'll work :shake:  People think because they look similar to a turbo or super charger they must be the same!  They're made for sucking gas/oil fumes out of boat bilges and do NOT push any real volume of air.  I've seen these on ebay where they mount inline, which will do nothing but ROB airflow.  I've turned these guys in to ebay many times, but as long as they're getting their fees they don't care what kind of hoax they're allowing to be sold :shake:  I'd suggest we all turn this in to ebay as a fraud and maybe they'll pull the auction.

Actually, it is legitimate for 4-5PSI of boost.  But it's always on, noisy as hell, and since it isn't belt or gear driven to match the engine's speed, it's going to have a very poor response curve.(though if it had a timing sensor and a computer module to vary the voltage...)

Yeah and a flux capacitor, then it would really awesome.

  This is something I'd have to see first hand to believe.  I am very familiar with these bilge blowers and know the flow rates, and there's no possible way for anything less than restriction if run inline.  These aren't built to build pressure like a turbo or sc, they're simply built to move air/fumes from a confined space.  You get more flow with one of those cheap little fans you plug into your cig lighter and place on your dash.
