My 1987 4runner has an electrical problem. First the fuse for the gage cluster blows, that interupts the output from the alternator, causing the truck to run on the battery until that dies. It throws no codes (that I'm aware of) and the alternator and battery are both new...replaced by a "mechanic" who threw parts (and my money) at the problem with zero results. I can't find any obvious wire faults(broken wires, shorted, etc) so...
any ideas to help me along towards a fix would be great.
